Sometimes I feel I am too crazy to own the fourth one I just won the bid on ebay # 7386740446 But I am falling in love them. The sound are very nice and warm. Anyone have the opinions? thank you. povation

You obviously love the sound and playability of the four you own and it is the only thing I would be concerned with. If it "speaks" to you, then it is a great guitar!

On the other hand I have owned 8 Thunderheads, a guitar that very few people would even consider looking at. Everyone has their favorites and nothing wrong with that. Dave

I thought long about the 1657 that no one bid on, but I was working on 2 or 3 others at the time that I still don't have. Since I don't have a Legend, I thought it would be a nice addition.

Let’s list the symptoms: • Multiple guitars in play on eBay at one time “That I still don’t have” • Considering a model “Because I don’t have one and it would be a nice addition” • Purchasing multiple guitars in ONE DAY. • Living to talk about it • Actually considering doing it again • An already impressive list of O’s Good luck my friend. Unfortunately there is no known permanent cure once infected. BE CAREFUL as GAS can be fatal if SWMBO is not understanding. Too bad we all cannot suffer this fate like Aloha Tim who has a SWMBO that has it as bad as he does.

She said again that it's better than spending money on other women. So far she isn't jealous of my guitars. She put up with my car obsessions for years and even contributed. She's as much into Porsches as Tim's wife seems to be into Ovations. Ovations are lots cheaper. My addiction became obvious when I hid the amp that I bought the same day as I bought my Ultra GS. Can't play an electric without an amp, right? When she found out, I think she considered getting me some counselling.

He used to keep an extra $1000 in the checking account that his wife didn't know about because they never had the correct balance in the checkbook. He bought tons of golf clubs and had them delivered to the office. He had other slush fund money that he used to play with. When he died from falling off a ladder, his wife found out he had 8 sets of left handed golf clubs stashed in various places. She had a hell of a time getting rid of them. If stuff like that is the only things we try to hide from our wives, they are very lucky.

I've always liked the way it looks. I cannot imagine anyone not being happy about owning one. MiB, I think $450 would be stealing it. I've never played a 1537, so I can't compare it to that. But it holds its own in my little herd. Bill

I am beholden to her for many things, including keeping us out of bankruptcy, so she controls the checkbook. If it was up to me we'd have a 1000 square foot house with a 5 car garage and a basement studio. If anyone finds one of those, let me know.
