I'll be starting a New Job Just up the road With The City Of Dunn, NC Police department. No I won't be a uniformed officer, I will be a dispatcher. What this means for me is withina year I'll be making more money than i am now. benifits are given to me(Health, dental) I don't pay the premium, There is also a retirement/Pension plan and a seperate 401K.I start February 22nd. The downside is when i leave this job in radio, i'll be outof computer communication with this board and not able to check my personal email. Since for now there is no computer at home. I'll just bide my time. Maybe i can stroll into the Library and log on once in a while.I'll see How it goes. so, It's goodbye to Radio Broadcasting(I've done this for 24 years!!) Except for some part-time work eventually i won't be doing any full-time work.Theres' just no money in it. So I'm happy and excited about my new opportunity. as far as my Ovation 6 string wants..well lets just say, i'll have to bite my lip, and wait until we're caught up on everything. may take awhile, but hey..who knows.. eventually it could happen.

I start a new job in Knoxville, TN in 2 weeks. The company I'm going to is opening a new expansion facility there, producing 40'+ power boats. Some of you may be familiar with Cobalt Boats. The new facility will produce an expansion of their current line, beginning with a 40+ foot ‘Express Cruiser’. I’ll be doing production engineering work initially, moving into production management as the facility comes on line. Can’t wait to get started.

Just take your vitamins, brush and floss. If you just have to take the job, perhaps you can stand out on the corner and play your banjo for tips until you can buy a home 'puter.

His only request is to be left alone to read OFC forum. His weapon seems to be a blue 12 string guitar. Proceed with caution!!

Dispatch: "911, what's yer emergency TWANG-TWANG-TWANG" Caller: "I've fallen and I can't get up" Dispatch: "Hang on TWANG-TWANG-TWANG. Do you need a TWANG-TWANG-TWANG am-ba-lance TWANG." E- True Hollywood Story / January 2007 And it was not long afterward that Steve was once again forced to look for a job in radio. As fate would have it the replacements for Howard Stern were declared an utter failure at the same time. Like the fabled rags to riches story, Steve Chapman became America's number one shock jock and the personality most fined by the FCC.
