| I have a Mid-80's 1717 Deep Bowl Legend and I have a question about the front strap mount. It is mounted below the neck, which is great for a playing stand (mostly how I have used it) but now I want to use it with a strap.
Should I be using a strap the goes to the neck? Or should I have a new mount added to the guitar? that seems a bit scary but what options do I have or what have others done??

Location: 6 String Ranch | It actually works just fine but you could always change it to the strap lock for extra security. |

Location: Tennessee | I like having the strap button below the heel ... it's more comfortable playing deep bowls for me. It keeps the guitar from doing the dreaded "roundback roll". |
