Location: Burbank, CA | Greetings All,
OK, I am researching a friend's Ovation and am not quite sure of the details on it based on a few different things I found online. I figured asking here would be my best bet. Here's the info:
Model No. 1112-4
From what I could see, this is referred to as a Deluxe Balladeer, but then I saw Custom Balladeer listed somewhere, as well. Which is accurate?
Serial No. 042915
My friend was under the impression that his guitar was a 1968 or '69 issue, but, from what I can tell, this serial number indicates 1975...is that correct?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Location: Burbank | 1112 is a Custom Balladeer. I beleive the Deluxe Balladeer never had a part number, just a name. |

I have a 1112-1 Custom Balladeer made in "74" with a serial number of 037xxx.
Sweet instrument!
Post some pictures. |

Location: Burbank, CA | Thanks a lot for the help guys. It is a very nice instrument and it's in great shape with the original case (case is a little rough, but that's not nearly as important as the guitar). As requested, here's a photo of the guitar:
And one of the case:
Thanks again,

Balladeer = dot inlays, unbound fretboard
Custom Balladeer = diamond inlays, unbound fretboard
Legend = diamond inlays, bound fretboard
