I was waiting for a medication(Cogentin) to come with today's shipment and look what I found. Cogentin is a medication used to stop side effects from Haldol, Thorazine, Risperdal, Zyprexa etc. It is an anticholinergic medication.

This medication can also be use to control excessive salivation. One dose of this medication should also be included with all Ovation guitars and catalogs :p :)

Hmm...bet their annual tour is a fun one too.

'Course I'd rather hang out with a slew of guitar players than a bunch of people standing around drooling but that's just me.

Uh, Weaser ... last year it was a slew of guitar players standing around drooling. :D

I forgot to mention that this company belongs to Merck. They are probably trying to recover from the Vioxx law suits. CWK2 if the Bloomfield suits get a large settlement do I get a finders fee (free guitar  ;) )?

Ovation chocolates, Farm-a-suit-icals and Cookies are some of the ones I've run across.

We are situated by the Olympic Mountains but the Olympic committee "owns" the term "Olympic". Many a local business have had to fight or change their name once they try to grow beyond local boundaries and fame.

Not that I know of but we were never close.

Is he still alive? I haven't heard anything of him in years.

I take it you're joking, but if not...

Heroin got him many years ago.

Gibson should do a Mike Bloomfield reissue Les Paul. They've done everyone else and he's the one responsable for bringing it back. If he didn't play it Clapton and Paige wouldn't have gone and gotten one. Or Duane either.

Well, Cliff was drooling. I was somewhat alarmed, but those who knew him or had met him before didn't seem concerned, or even surprised.

The llamas, on the other hand, were quite well mannered. Although they did appear to be a little nervous around Cliff...

I really had forgotten (or never knew) about Mike B.
Sad end - and you're right about the signature LP, but his fame was never as great or as lasting as it was for those who came after him. It's wierd how that happens.
Everybody would name Robert Johnson and Charlie Christian as the greats of their day - but everybody forgets Lonnie Johnson who was a way better guitarist than his namesake and was the original jazz guitarist before Charlie. Now almost forgotten (although I got a remastered 4cd box set at Christmas which is just FANTASTIC).
