Looks like about 300 are planning to ride over and want to know who's cooking dinner, who's bringing the beer, and what time the show starts?

I suggested it a few years ago, but didn't have any takers. We're just too remote for people, but that's a choice I made.

I suspect it takes much longer to drive from Joisey to War Eagle's place than it takes me to drive to Portland. That's about 7 hours for me and in our younger days we'd leave after work Friday night and come back Sunday afternoon. Gas was lots cheaper then, too.

Joined: December 2006 Posts: 6268 Location: Florida Central Gulf Coast | Blues, Hopefully Keith (War Eagle) doesn't mind me posting a quote from him on this topic: I was hoping to cook steaks on Saturday evening for everyone. I will go ahead and buy everything and maybe everyone can chip in. Drinks, snacks etc should be brought by everyone individually... So I'm planning on a 'fisherman's diet' for the duration other than the Saturday PM cook-out. If there's a cafe or such in the area, I may supplement my diet with a hot meal or two. My main concern is COFFEE! I'll buy the coffee if someone will have the means to brew it. Just as an after thought, I am bringing my own TP... :D

Closest restaurants are the truck stops off of 40.....The bathroom is definately rustic but it will function as long as we let it breathe between takes!! Nobody will go hungry and definately not thirsty...Peace Man...It's all about the love! The first annual "O" Stock...
