Joined: February 2005 Posts: 253 Location: New Orleans | Thanks for the initiation of the OFC strap! I'm looking forward to having one, maybe two, and would then customize one further because I simply must have...studs. :D Maybe I'll just spell out "Ovation Fan Club" and wear with pride! Might even try out "Project Llama" if I can get a good looking stencil going. Last guitar strap I was given had 3 SEARGENT STRIPES glaring across it, very visible. It took me 15 minutes of meticulous seam ripping to eradicate that LOL-ness but now I've added a few small spikey studs and created one very sharp lookin' heart.(pun definitely intended) Two months ago I began to stud out the back of my lightest weight trenchcoat and it's starting to come into shape. The shape of my EliteT. It's going to look like a guitar with no strings but I've decided to put tiny fret markers to fill it out a bit. It's the biggest design I've ever attempted. Ever. So, if you want to get a bit crafty, get yourself a kit and practice different designs on old denim. It's easy and it doesn't cost a fortune. Whoah, The OFC Rocks!!!

There have been several items that people wanted and they just sit in the ofc store. We would need to find a universally appealing strap that was reasonably priced and of the highest quality. that is next to impossible. Now I have been knonw to do the impossible but currently my times is extremely limted. I think this is a great idea but would NOT be able to implement it any time soon because of personal committments. give it a rest and get back to me. thanks for understanding

Pre-paid orders...a couple of us do the all the research and leg work...when it is all done we send the OFC's cut off to you. I can see why we would not want to inventory such an expensive and personal choice type item.

If OFC members handle it and get cash back into the OFC it's great for everybody. Except the people who don't order one in time!

We should also contact Spider. I believe he would commit to a bunch for the Japanese market. He was bummed that he missed out on the calendar.

Maybe five if they will put a clip on the end of one for the 47RI...in burgundy. Al needs orders no later than Wednesday, November 22nd...he said Friday but remember that is the Thanksgiving long weekend. Check out the 1st post on this thread for the website to check them out.
