There's a lot of new (or recent) releases by great (and maybe not so great) artists, that makes me want to spend my Saturday shopping in the music store. What's in your wish list, with regards to new CDs?

Here's mine:
- La Guitara: Gender Bending Strings
- Jack Johnson and Friends - Curious George Soundtrack
- David Gilmour - On An Island
- Ray Lamontagne - Trouble

waiting to see if the new Van Morrison - "Pay the Devil" grows on me. classic country tunes. a bit much pedal steel and fiddle for me at the moment, but it might strike somebody elses fancy.

I have the Jack Johnson and David Gilmour CD's.. both are excellent in their own way. The Curious George soundtrack has some stuff that you'd just as easily hear on a regular CD.. and then again, it's got some stuff that you'd hear on a CD for toddlers. I've got toddlers, so it works. ;)

Thanks for the input dvd! I will definitely get David Gilmour's CD this weekend. As for the Curious George sundtrack, I thought it might be a cool CD to have since I work with children. I saw the Jack Johnson music video of him interacting between his world and Curious George's ... I think it's cool.
