| Hi,
I believe I got my hands on an Ovation 1117 Legend, however im not completely sure.
I was playing the other day and picked up the guitar from my lap through the hole and half of the rosette came unglued. I tried using a super glue to get it back down but it didnt work and I got glue on the finish.
Now im going into the shop to fix it up and I've got two questions.
1) What kind of laquer should I use to repair the finish (and do i have to strip the whole thing down or can i just patch it up)
2) what polymer would best glue down a new rosette?
please email me as i need this info ASAP. thanks!

Good luck. |

is it worth is It is the question you need to ask yourself. |

BTW Nils, your Worlds Bravest Man submission the other day was well accepted It depends on the brand name Mike, but generally it says something about "de-bonder" in it somewhere. That guy was pretty brave wasn't he? :) |
