Location: Jakarta, Indonesia | Where can i get the pickup for my Adamas 1587-8? The pick-up is worn quite heavily on the "string-rest" (what is the proper term for this -- it is the white part where the string rest on the bridge). Also, is it possible today to get the OP24? |

...and yes I believe you can get an 0P -24 from the factory.
I'd think twice about modifying your 1587...That is a rare guitar. |

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia | Jeff, thank you for the information. I do not want to modify the guitar, I just want to restore it. At least the saddle and the frets need to be redressed. If I put my ear near the OP-24, everytime I pick the string 6 or 5, there is a slight 'krrr' sound. Perhaps this is because of the worn saddle (it has quite deep string marks). |
