does anyone know if the 1869 featured an xlr output back in 1987?
i think the 90's and later have 'em.

Location: Phoenix AZ		I believe the first XLR output was with the Optima preamp that didn't come out until early 90's. I could be wrong. Dave

Location: Chehalis, Washington		As of '94 the 1869 did not have an XLR, but that was with the OP24 preamp. My '95 Adamas has the Optima preamp and the XLR port.
