Probably in mid-September because I am not air conditioned. I guess it would be on a Saturday starting in the early afternoon and go till whenever. That would work out for those who did not want to make an overnight trip out of it. There are a couple motels nearby. Algonac is about 45 miles northeast of downtown Detroit. Burgers and dogs...BYOB...wives are welcome. Any interest???

Actually guys, you will need to cut two of them out, cloterize the ends and tie them back! And to assauge your fears - there's no vast difference with no vas deferans!

Actually, I told her that seeing as the hospital runs at somewhere around $5k/day (my best guesstimate, probably a little high), I'm going to be adding a few things to my guitar collection while she's gone. ;)

I have had 1/2 a can in my entire life. And I remember just where I was. July 5th, 1970...in the back seat of a '68 Mustang...driving along Lake Shore Drive (right past the old Henry Ford estates) in Grosse Pointe thowing empties at bus stops. It was a half can of Colt 45 Malt Liquor. We were on our way to downtown Detroit for my first WHO concert. There----top that.

Many of us became great drunk drivers because of all of our experience. Fortunately, in Western Kansas there weren't too many obstacles to hit.

Joined: September 2003 Posts: 9301 Location: south east Michigan | Just to set the record straight...I'm not total tea-toadler. It was the winter of '77. A ski trip to Sun Valley, Idaho. Sittin' at the bar in the "Ore House" (a very nice resturant). My friend George sits me down and says, "Brad...we're not leaving this bar until we find you a drink." About the 3rd or 4th round, George orders up two Rusty Nails (Drambue and Scotch on the rocks). That did it. I like 'em. Like many of the good things in life, it's an acquired taste Maybe it's my loss but I always figured that if something did not taste good there was a good reason for it. BTW...I really, really hate coffee. but Colt 45 is not beer Well...nobody told me!

Joined: March 2005 Posts: 12759 Location: Boise, Idaho | The winter of 77 was my first ski trip to Sun Valley. Day after New Years. The Ore House was there for years, but Sun Valley is getting more like Vale or Aspen lately. Lots of guys like Arnold and John Kerry living there on occasion. I'd be a lot richer if I'd have stopped drinking whatever didn't taste good. Don't know that I could have stayed awake through law school without coffee, though. Next year is 30 years, Brad. Time for a reunion. If the snow is any good, fly out to Boise and I'll take you up skiing.
