What's an 1132? This number is not covered in the reference section. (Unless I missed another link, again.)

Is the aluminun fretboard replaceable with a normal one, or is it a throw-away neck? The neck itself looks to be wood?

It's a Matrix model.

The "carving" on early Adamas 1 headstocks looks like wood too, but it's the same material as matrix necks, high density urethane foam. Ovation called it Urelite. Unless you need a slide guitar, I'd steer clear of any Matrix, Medallion or Applause with an Ali neck, unless you can get it in your hands to check it out first.

There was a short-lived later version of the Matrix with an ali/foam neck and a regular re-fretable rosewood board. These are decent guitars, which later became the Baladeer special then the Ultra.

The problem Paul alluded to is that if the frets are worn, there are no replacement necks available. I seem to have the only one that's still in good shape because I hardly played it for 30 years. Do a search for Matrix. Someone recently posted on how they replaced the aluminum frets with regular frets. The frets are actually part of the cast aluminum fretboard.

I'd pay $100 for one, especially if it came with a better case, but the $50 shipping would put it over my limit.
