Hi Guys & Gals,

I put OT in the title mainly bacause;

1. No Glen Campbell
2. No Ovations
3. Not even a Nylon String.

Just an awesome version of this song.

Classical Gas

For those of you like me with slooooooow dial up it is well worth the wait.

Enjoy

Now I know why His guitar is so beat up. :)

Maybe if mine looked like that, I could play about 10% as good as him. :D

Shows a great ability, interesting to watch, but I like Mason's version better - just me...

Chet Atkins once said that Tommy Emmanuel was the best picker he had ever seen!

I loved that little bridge of "walk don't run" thrown in for a break!

Now, now...I would never hurt a guy who could play like that. ;) But that is a great example of why I reeeely like to watch him play. Between him and Adrian, I'm not sure who I appreciate more. Just great stuff.

I hate it when the camera pans away from the fingers to do artsy stuff like show his face......don't they know only guitar wannabes look at stuff like this?

Stay with the fingers :mad: ;) !

That was outstanding! I just wonder even how much better it would sound on an Adamas?

The words "Ingenious Improvisation" come to mind... Mason William's probably got a copy of that one..

There's another Tommy Emmanuel video on YouTube of him doing a medley live in Austrailia that includes classical gas. It's great too. It's shot from further back so you can't see his fingers, but he looks like he''s having a hell of a good time playing!
