Location: Parrish, FL | After the weekend, I hope. I'm in the middle of a move. Haven't had time to barely touch it. Looks like it has the original strings on it, so that is first.
Funny thing.... I had it shipped to work, that's good you say, well no it's not. SWMBO works in the same office. That's bad you say, well no that's generally good except it makes it harder to slip this type of thing under the radar. (not that I'd really be able to anyway.)
So it arrives. I hadn't expected so soon and was unprepared. I take it out of the case and begin tuning it up by ear, a hopeless task for me by any measure. Disappointed, I put it back in the case. I take it out about 20 min later and begin playing around again. Then it hits me. It has an on-board tuner! DOH!
Come to find out I was well on my way to getting it in tune. I had the low E nailed!, just needed to follow through.
I played another 10 minutes or so, put it away and haven't touched it since. Guests in for a business dinner Wednesday night and last night packing, paying bills, and all that stuff that allows me to stayed married inspite of my short-comings and "another guitar!?".
So maybe Saturday night. |
