Location: Australia | Even though I've got a #47RI on order I couldn't resist this one.
My thanks to Standing/Tuppy and his OvationGallery site for being the only source (apart from here) of info and spec on this guitar.
I love the 70's look. The colour, deep bowl, TRC and simple preamp.
It's light, resonant with a beautifully full acoustic tone. As I'd bought it to gig with I was a little worried about the simple 2 knob preamp (having been an Optima man for many years) but it sounds great and I like it's simple clean appearance.
If any other Aussie wants one I believe there were 5 brought into the country.
....even came with the John Lennon "Acoustic" CD. |
