Sounds like you need a neck reset.

It isn't a bridge, it's a saddle. Take your guitar to any reputable guitar shop and ask them. They will probably have a wide selection of saddles, and one of them will probably fit your guitar. If not, you can sand it yourself.

It does sound however, that you MAY need a neck reset if it is that high. How tall IS the saddle? If you can press the strings down close to the bridge and it looks like the action will still be too high, you may want to send it to Mother.

Lots of good deals going on USA made Ovations. I'd do both things Beal said, buy a slide for this one, then find a deal on a USA made Ovation.

Not for the faint-of-heart, but there is a technique referred to as a "bowl bend". I'd consult with a reputable technician, though.
I've never had the best luck getting a glued-in neck cleanly removed from the body. But, I'm not one of The Wizards, either!

Many questions... The warranty on a brand-new, first owner, registered Celebrity is Five Years.

As to the saddle, that depends on the type of pick-up you've got. If it is connected to the saddle, I wouldn't mess with it. If it one of the kind that looks like a metal shim with a wire, you are OK.

I you can just replace the saddle, you can go down to the local Luthier (Guitar Shop) with the saddle you've got now... And see if they have one that is smaller (shorter), but the same width and thickness. Last time I did this, the shop dude gave me a box full of them and let me pick what I needed. They were $3 apiece, but he gave me a couple freebies.

But if it is still under warranty, get them to fix it. I don't even know where they fix Celebrity's nowadays.
