(starting with "A Charlie Brown Christmas" in '65 - which I distinctly remember seeing the first broadcast of).
Also provided the voice of "Snoopy".
In the credits of A Charlie Brown Christmas, he was listed as providing "Graphic Blandishments"
- a title that I (respectfully) "stole" from him to use on some of my business cards, years later.
He was 91.
Not a bad thing to "leave behind". |

Location: Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey | I remember when the ONLY time you saw the Peanuts (or any other kid's specials) was when they played them on network TV (when there were 3 of them). Things have changed a bit. My 2 1/2 year old has all her favorites on DVD, along with her portable DVD player. Not to mention "Disney On Demand". I'm so glad I bought a HighDef TV so that Dora and Mickey look nice and clear.
Snoopy was always my favorite. He was a bit of a wiseass. Gotta like that. |
