I was wondering how to mark the double millenium.

A few words on:-

the Al Pepiak School of Salesmanship?
the Paul Templeman school of self-effacement?
the fred school of quiet self-reflection?
the moody "guitarist's guide to the fourth fret?"
the witko "world of small instruments and how to entertain many nations with them?"
the slipkid guide to aggressive behaviour in a social situation?
the waskel guide to photographic truth?
the cliff guide to bruce springsteen, his songs and why he represents all that is best about Jersey?
the cwk2 guide to Florida on $10 a day?
the weaser guide to answering the question you were asked?

the jeffW guide to living among creatures who walk upright?

No.

I thought I would just say thank you to all these and many more who have provided me with friendship when I needed it most and more laughs than I could ever have imagined when I signed on here all that time ago.

And getting to the Tour after last year will be something I remember for the rest of my life. Guaranteed.

I have no plans to be nice to any of you again in the near future.

Treasure this moment.

We'd just as soon have you stay at 1999...

...only because the CWK guide to Florida on $10/day stands to be boring... or highly illegal (possibly subject to warrantless search)... and therfore only slightly more entertaining than the rest of your list..

(...though, I might be persuaded to read any modern treatments on BiPedalism...)

Don't worry about it Jeff.

Schroeder can barely walk up right himself, and if he didn't play guitar, we'd certainly question whether he even has need of opposable thumbs :D :p :D :p

It's nice to know ya Schroeder.
Aggressive??? I would hope "pro-active" might fit better.
And I have calmed down just a tad since I got back.

I don't think we can make the list until we at least break 1000 and attend some get togethers so they know us in person.

I went to the tour. I met schroder. Talked for a while. I guess I just didn't leave much of an impression...
I was just hoping for "the Ttenn guide to posting over 700 times without really saying anything useful." :(

the ttenn guide to looking least like the guy in Texas to "Pull the Switch"

EDIT: ttenn was among the best groomed and well maintained of the OFC tour attendees...however, I can't honestly say he looks least like the guy "pulling the switch" in Texas

Schroeder

I hope you have learned the lesson of casting pearls before the swine, once or two thousand times will still leave you frustrated as your wise thoughts are debated at the slop trouph.

I say go on with your unappreciated british observations, I sure appreciate them.

BUT, I am old, wise, and a veteran of music and bands so what do I know, compared to those that only theorize what playing hard stuff (bluegrass} is really like???

Rock On

Schroed;

It's been an absolute honour and a pleasure knowing (and finally meeting) you.

Next year, when you come for the Tour
(and you WILL come, btw!), you and MasterWhitehead need to get on the road a day or two early and we'll all (along w/MasterTempleman take on a day in Manhattan . . .

Schro', just keep in mind the great Marxist saying "I wouldn't want to be a member of any club that would have me".

And it's purely a malicious lie that you're spreading regarding there being a 4th chord....

You'd better be there next year, pal. Like it or not, you're one of us! (is it possible to insult a man more than that?)

Lastly, you should take up Clifford on his "Day in Manhattan" idea. You'd have a great time.

p.s. Bring condoms......

tten

tom, your mistake was to be decent, sober and normal. It's unattractive in an OFC member.

My apologies to tom, stonebobbo, trboy, old liver, bailey and everybody else I didn't insult by name. Your turn will come.
