Well folks, I have confirmed it and must admit, was a bit surprised at the outcome of my experiment. But yes, the 1537 must be the closest thing on earth to the sound of angels singing.

How would I prove this you ask? Rather simple really. Is this truth or fiction...you decide.

My one month old (today actually) baby granddaughter came to visit yesterday. They live 200 miles away, so this is only the second time I have seen her.

Last night, she was in full tilt scream mode. I am not sure how they get such output from such a small package, but if speaker/amp makers could do it, you would only need a breadloaf sized 8 pound amplifier to do a football stadium

Anyway...pulled out the W597 and began doing some strumming and finger picking. The screams soon drowned out the 597, so I needed "bigger guns". I grabbed the 1537, and almost from the first chord, she instantly stopped screaming and just laid there looking in the direction of the "sound". I played mostly, sang a little (which probably gave her the other kind of Gas), and played some more for nearly an hour. Everytime I would pause, she would start screaming again. Start playing...it would stop.

So...there you have it, my inconclusive totally subjective and circumstantial evidence. The 1537 is preferred over the Adamas W597 by one month old babies, therefore it must be because they sound like an angel.

That's my story and I am sticking to it. :D

One of my dogs runs and hides when I play, but it doesn't matter which guitar so it must be me. Of course, the other one hides when I turn on my pocket LED flashlight. Maybe I just have weird dogs. :)

I look forward to hearing all the 1537's in August!

Our dog used to run and hide from my guitar. This was very useful, because if we wanted to keep a dog out of a room, we'd just put the guitar in it. In the last year that I went from 2 guitar to 10, the dog has overcome her fear. That disproved the theory that my playing hurt her ears.
Now it looks like I'll have to find a way to get the 1537 to gh1's and try to upset the balance of the universe. Can there be too many angel voices in one place?
