The best price I have ever seen on these was a special sale a GC for $600 for a new one. I will say this. Many, many folks here think that the EliteT model offers the most bang for the buck from the entire Ovation line.

No real visual info on the extent and direction of the crack. Unless you are willing to send this back to the mothership for a new neck, or get a satisfactory response about the neck from the seller, I would avoid this one. But I doubt you'll get a good report from the seller, he pretty much states that adjustment of the truss rod would be impossible.

There is no picture of the side to clarify what the bowl depth is. And this seller appears to be a professional dealer. Personally I would pass on this one. The crack is worrisome. If you are patient you should be able to find something either new (FRG) or in pristine condition for a similar price.

That being said, I wouldn't take the chance, on this one. If in the future, you can't adjust the neck, it would be worthless. Forget about getting a new neck installed. You may spend more in repairs and shipping, than purchasing a new one. Just wait for a guitar in better shape or check with AL.
