I'm sure that it's been printed in mass quantity and is being posted on every telephone pole in downtown Detroit this very minute . . . . I once threw an outdoor SummerBash at my home and had invited a "select" group of co-workers via an e-mailed, similar "flyer" . . . On the Friday before the party (I had taken the day off to prepare my house/yard), somebody in the office (I would assume "peeved" that THEY weren't invited) printed the flyer and papered the warehouse with it . . . Had about 30 VietNamese and Ecuadorian workers (who spoke not a WORD of English - but were curiosly capable of reading the invite - and finding my house) show up to happily relieve me of a couple of kegs and a goodly part of Frank Purdue's weekly production . . . LessonLearned.

Joined: September 2003 Posts: 9301 Location: south east Michigan | I'm not worried. Afterall...this is the internet. Safe, Secure, and contained. That was a rotten trick they pulled on you Cliff. BrianT and I spent about a hour last night over-thinking this thing. Small drum kit? Three acoustic amps with mic inputs? A single powered speaker through a mixer? A full PA? I want to amp up to provide a little flavor to the guitars and vocals but don't need to blast the neighborhood. I plan on amp time in the afternoon and early evening, then move into the unplugged tiki torch phase. I figure that maybe only 3 or 4 OFC'ers might make the trip. I'm trying to fill out the crowd with some musical and non-musical friends. Any suggestion that would help make this thing go would be appreciated.

I get embarassed being in the same room with my daughters when they watch the crap they watch on television. I prefer to watch that crap by myself.
