Joined: February 2002 Posts: 5750 Location: Scotland | Hmmmm....nice idea but I'd need to know a lttle more about the internal construction of this before I'd go for it, like does it have a soundwell or not. Also I'm not convinced that securing the strings through holes in the coverplate is a great idea, it should really have a tailpiece, but I guess you could add one pretty easily. It looks like the work is pretty tidy but you have to question whether you need to own any guitar that the seller describes as sounding like a banjo! That said, It's probably worth a punt just for novelty value, it'll be interesting to see what price it reaches. | ||

Sounded "OK", but didn't float my boat...the round back didn't sit on a lap well. Took them over 6 months to sell the thing(at $125), even in "roots music" country. Roger | ||
