Greetings One and All,

Do any of you kindhearted Ovation Fans know where I might be able to find the two (semi-concentric?) knobs for a very wonderful 1981 Model 1617 Legend? My knobs have cracked!

Go ahead folks, there's a bunch of jokes in that last sentence!!!

Now, I have indeed offered my Kingdom for a knob but please be advised that it's debt ridden and in decay....

A million thanks in advance for any and all responses. :-)

All The Best!

Get ahold of John Budny or Kim Keller at the factory. You kingdom will remain intact, even if a little fractured.

Thanks to you Fred and to you Hobie! I shall indeed follow the Factory route and look into the custom line as well!

I had the identical problem on my '81 1651 about six years ago. Sent a note to the factory asking where I might find such items and a new set arrived within a week, no charge. It just doesn't get any better than that.
