Location: Houston, Texas | The FAA is charged with the responsibility to promote and encourage aviation as well as define safety requirements. The two often conflict with one another. The FAA does have the authority to mandate fuel tank nitrogen purge systems but they haven't because it conflicts with trying to keep a struggling airline industry afloat financially. |

| Mitchrx, I just saw your post. You are correct. I read that particular book, but I also grew up in an aviation family, and it is common knowledge that twa800 was shot down by a missle, as either resulting from a nearby military training-mission accident, or resulting from an otherwise unidentified hostile source. A serious website exists on this matter, www.twa800.com. (And, if the entire video of the 911 pentagon crash should "happen" to be released before the next presidential conventions, it will rock this nation...) |

Several squads of lunatics, under the auspices of religious authority, hijacked air planes and crashed them into heavily populated buildings, thereby killing thousands of civilians... because they hate us.
What could possibly rock this country, USA, more?
