Random quote: “Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.” -Plato

Must be some equivalent professional joke to the medical one that goes; What do you call the man who graduates from medical school with the lowest marks in his class?

Doctor.
(only the answer would be, Your Honor.) ;)

I know a guy out here in California who took the bar about 12 times before finally passing it.

I have less trouble passing the bar than I used to.

Ha, yeah! I pass bars all the time... but usually I'm passing through the doorway and asking the bartender for a beer. ;) :D

I took 2 in one summer. No big deal, but then all the young guys tell me that's because they couldn't fit as many laws on those stone tablets back then.

Nah Mark, they still give us stone blocks... there are just more of them now! You have no clue how many stoncutters Barbri employs! :p :p :p (For anyone who is fortunate enough not to know, Barbri is a company with a lock on the Bar review biz in the US)

Speaking of the 10 Commandments... Regardless of your personal religious or political beliefs, this is pretty funny - http://www.gorillamask.net/colbert10c.shtml

That is funny! Oh, and I didn't take a BarBri course either. The Iowa bar had it's own review course and when I moved out here the course was over, so I just winged it on my own. After the Iowa bar exam, most others would probably be a piece of cake. The judge I know that failed the New Jersey bar passed the New York and Pennsylvania bar exams first. I think he didn't bribe the right people.

Ha. Yeah, I'd be lying if I said that the bribery angle never crossed my mind... unfortunately for me I have too much morals and (probably) way too little cash to pull off a bribe like that!
