They have been planning this for some time now and are pretty excited to go do the shows. First date is August 10th at the Sturgis, SD Motorcycle Rally. You can view the itinerary on Pollstar. Just search "artist itinerary" for James Gang. I will certainly be at the House of Blues on September 3.........

I saw the Eagles live in Twickenham in the UK about month or so ago and they were great. Jo Walsh was in good form. The Dixie Chicks opened and then the guys just strolled on, pluged in and blew everyone away (40,000 people at least in the stadium). They used Takermine for the accoustic numbers.

Does anyone have any expericance of the Stratocaster 1970 re-issue, both Mexican and American built. I am out to purchase this weekend and I know there are many knowledgeable people on this site, so any advice would be good

The three-bolt necks used on the 70's era strats was a move by CBS to save money, but it resulted in weaker neck joints and ruined the guitars. They wised up and resumed the four-bolt neck design in the late 70's or early 80's, but the historic "70's design" has always included the three bolt neck. I don't know if the reissues are engineered differently to correct this potential problem.

Hey, come to Vegas, Highway 61. Standing at HOB is $70.00. Floor seats $130.00-150.00. The standing tickets are great with great sight lines and close to the bars!

Yes, I have to get to Vegas some day--period.
I guess you're going to the show, then?

Should be interesting. I would have loved to see them back in the 70's.

I saw then in the 70's when I lived in Houston at the Music Hall...small...held about 2500 I would guess.

The main reason I went was to see the opening act which was TRAPEZE. I thought Trapeze was great (of course since I went to the see them) and that the JAMES GANG was very good but at the time I thought they were boring.....again more than likely because I went to primarily see Trapeze.
