I have read some positive reviews on this pedal and have long respected Yamaha electronics.

Anyone have any experience with it they would care to share.

I have been using a Digitech RP100 to add a touch of chorus, but it really is an electric pedal and not well suited for acoustic applications.

JeffreyD, I have a magic stomp acoustic, I am totally satisfied with it. I run my 1778LX thru it to a Bose P.A.S. with one bass module. It really helped to solve a feedback problem that many P.A.S. owners complain about when using A/E guitars. It is infinitly adjustable but I mostly use one or two presets. The whole combination with the OP Pro on the LX must be heard. This rig is the absolute living end! for me anyway. what else can I say, except I don't play plugged in without it! It has a chorus setting that sounds sweet, the other setting I use is vintage. I chose this set up over the Line6/Bose set up at GC, I've never looked back. Probably too much information, but if you can get your hands on one, to try, it's worth looking into.

Try a search on the topic. I think there was a thread on this pedal a few months ago.

Hey Philmax - a quick quesiton. You said you picked the BOSE PAS over the line6/bose setup. Isn't the line6/BOSE setup just a variax and a PAS?

The Great Dobro uses one (gregdobrov) and if it's good enough for him it's probably good enough for anyone else. I've got the old AGStomp which I love.

Hi MrDano, to answer your question, yes, that is the set up I've seen at the local GC. I picked up a beautiful HB 1778-LX at the time I got the PAS. My EliteLX, sounded as good as any acoustic GC had. The Magicstomp Acoustic does as much and more than the variax acoustic guitar. Whether plugged in or unplugged my stuff sounds great, now I just need someone willing to give me guitar lessons!
