Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Did you change string guage? That will affect it dramatically, but yes.. the center adjustment is how you adjust the tension. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I assume I changed string guage, but I thought I was going lighter. I don't know what was on it before. This seems like I went heavier. I'm going to loosen them all up and try again. Maybe a good weekend project, but the 30th Anniversary CL will be here this weekend.
ANOTHER EDIT: Now that I think about it, the springs may pull the cam forward with lighter guage strings. |

Location: Chehalis, Washington | Miles, I have to agree with you. I think that GS is one of the slickest electrics I've ever seen.
Way less of them appear to be around. Did Ovation not make many of those as compared to the Vipers and other solids? |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | I don't know how many GS's are out there. Even if they made only a couple 100 per model there are at least 8 models. MSRP was about $435.00 at it's highest. There are three nice ones on eBay at this time. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | There's a red GS1 in a pawn shop here, supposedly with a case, that I could probably get for that. I was thinking about getting it for the neck, but I didn't have the time to dicker. Let me know if you want it and I'll go see what kind of deal I could get. |

The center adjustment must have been screwed so far in that when I took off the strings it fell inside. When I couldn't see the allen head, I thought it might be down in there. Found it and got it to tune up nicely once that adjustment screw was back in there. |
