As some of you know by now I very seldom write anything important. But last night I was at a friends place recording a song I wrote for the OFC CD at the end of the session, my friend tells me someone bought me a guitar it's not an Ovation but it's a custom telecaster. It has the areodyne body two humbuckers, pull/push coil tap. Anyways I just wanted to thnk God for blessing me.

Amen, brother! I've lost count of the ways God has blessed me in the past couple years...maybe I'll start a list sometime! ;)

Congrats!

Cool....He is good.

I got a "second chance offer" on a bass I was bidding on, so while not a gift like yours was, it is certainly a gift to be able to finally get a long desired bass.

Swing that axe mightily for Him!!!!

Since you bring up the OFC CD, Does anyone with some talent want an original song of mine to play with or record. I have an MP3 or wav here somewhere of a "scratch" version of it I put together if you are interested. Email me if so.

That's great, Pauly!
I have gotten three of my present guitars (Gertrude, Gilda and Ivory) by way of unexpected blessings; for me, the joy is to be able to pass it on, too. :)
Grace and peace,
Karen

There is something very special about guitars that come unexpectedly into your life.... I've been blessed with several like that. They are keepers, never to be sold, and always telling a great story.

Unfortunately (for the guitars), being sent to Moody is like being sentenced to AbuGhraib . . .

My 30th Anniversary gift from my wife is in route right now. We'll she if she can tell the difference between a 30th Ann. CL and the rest of the herd.

Clifford, the good news regarding guitars sent to me is that they don't get a lot of fancy playing... mostly they just have to respond to 3 chords and look good on the wall.....

Okay, maybe AbuGhraib was a bit "harsh" . . .

More like a Nursing Home.

Maybe y'can get Tim Chapman t'come over this Christmas to entertain them . . .
