At one point, I had my finger on the trigger to a 47RI, and only resisted based on the fact that 95% of the time I play amped, and putting out $3000+ for a guitar that's not internally amp-able was something I just could not justify. I may be in the minority here, but the fact that the 47RI is only acoustic is the reason I'm resisting a leap into the fray. God knows I love wall hangers as much as the next guy, probably more so, but this is just too much money and too much guitar to spend most of its time on the wall. In my studio, it would never be played as frequently as those that I can plug in. Accordingly, I prefer leaving the remaining units to those of you who appreciate and enjoy playing unplugged. Now, if the factory was to add electronics to the 47RI similar to many of the original slotheads . . . Now a custom order though... :D

It's a very nice Christmas gift isn't it!!! ;) I'm sure that there's much more #47-RI in USA but it's easier for me to call all the models in France. The French O's community is very small and everybody knows everybody. That's why at this time, I've got more info from France than from other countries. J :)

Ah well ... An by the way, Mr. Professor it's not SCOTCH tape, it's IRISH tape. Requires strong alcohol to get off. Dave
