I think it's designated 6778LX LTD - VN (Limited, Vintage Natural). It's actually one of Ovation's holiday specials this year - I have a line on at least one if anyone's interested. I like the soft colors with the Koa. Nice combination, and great price point for a USA Ovation.

Those of you on the tour this year may remember my guitar with the holes I cut in the bass shoulder of the bowl. I've put airlocks in the treble holes and the sound is much improved. I wish I had this model. John <>{

He's got 000 Norman Blake Santa Cruz guitars, the 12 limited editions. 000 body but with the dread depth. 12 fret wideneck slotheads. Holy mother of pearl ... Dave

Standard Elite This obviously isn't the LTD, but it's the base model.

I am betting something in the low to mid 3's might grab this one. SWEET LOOKING GUITAR and I don't really have a dark sunburst like that.

I talked to an Ovation rep today, and this particular model is actually AA-grade Sitka Spruce (though some individual models might be more of a bear-claw top) that basically is set up like the 07 Collectors. Mid bowl rather than contour, OP-Pro preamp, and Koa on the epaulet, bass-side only. It is on Ovation's "Holiday Specials" list, so it'll be interesting to see how long they run these for.
