I'll report later on the specific condition, following close inspection, but I may be close to major larceny on this one. The case is worth half of the BIN, and no shipping charges.

Guess I must be preparing for a long winter of projects.

You're just like a kid that keeps bringing home stray puppies. Hope it doesn't turn out to be a dog. OK analogy over. Congrats, it looks like a nice project.

I could make this easy, but...

I was born in the hometown of Rocky Graziano, Sacco and Vanzetti and they called it Shoe City at a time when we actually made stuff in the US.

I spent a few years in the city named for the son of the second President. In 1972 I moved out the Great Northwest and they informed me that the letter "R" was not a vowel!

I was surfing Ebay when I found the GC and then posted it here. When I checked back Seesquare, the fasted BIN in all Washington, had pulled the trigger.

Kachaaaawwwww!

Oh, I know it's Quincy. But that used to be part of Braintree.

With all of that woodworking talent, it only makes sense that you're from the land of "New Yankee Workshop".

...ok, you were born in NYC, and spent a few years in Quincy, MA. Do we have a winner, Vanna?

...btw, Sacco and Vanzetti happened in Braintree, not NYC. :p

You may still be right. I remember my 4th grade Teacher laying claim to them being local talent.

Stu, I think there's a Middlesex County there as well. What's that all about?

Lack of imagination on the part of the Pilgrims and their successors :-).

Actually when I travelled to the New Brunswick I was very excited to see all the street and area names reference well known locations in Scotland (made me quite homesick what with the grey clusters of social housing too!).

So apparently the lack of imagination/nostalgia afflicted most from the old countries. Around here in suburban Philly the names are all Welsh and west midlands of England showing the quaker influences in this part of the world.
