I would never questions another's culture but wouldn't it be easier if they rode the moped instead of carried it, Phil?

What a weird & wonderful group we all are.

And Phil seems to have the wonderful title tied up for a bit...

Congratulations Phil and thank you for allowing me to vicariously attend so many events in the mysterious east.

another Phil

If you'd ever ridden with him and his GPS on a dark rainy night you'd know he also fits into the weird group pretty well.

Do you trust me to answer that honestly? I was just curious because I figured there couldn't be many extra Ute necks laying around. I couldn't see any flaws in the pictures, but I never saw any pictures of the flaw in the slothead from when it was new. I have no use for another neck. I've stuck mine out and got it chopped off enough.

Congratulations Phil! I've only recently had the pleasure of meeting you, but I know that you are most deserving of this award. With all the new gear, can we look for a repeat??? ;)

I dunno.... It might be.
The frets did show that at one time it was attached to a body and played.

As promised here is a picture of me with the award.

I want to thank my 10 year old son Greg for helping me with the photo. he used my Nikon D200.
The camera looked overwhelming in his hands. He finally felt comfortable enough to help me.
As I said in an earlier post, I used the trophy as a subject to run test(exposure, lighting) with my new camera. This is the very first time that I was able to take photos and put them on a website within a few hours of taking the photos. For most of you this is nothing new. For me it was a new experience because I had to shoot the photos, resize in photoshop and post without waiting for film to be developed.
I have a few more photos in the gallery of the award. Feel free to look.

BTW - Will it be up to the incoming or outgoing Recipient to change the string?

Hang it proudly Phil! :D

Phil,
As the FIRST annual recipient of OFC Member Of The Year, I think you can demand, for the duration of your reign, that you aren't required to protect the upholstery by sitting on towels.

That's really funny Jeff. I was concentrating so much on making sure that Greg wouldn't drop my camera and that he wouldn't back up into our projection TV. I didn't know that I was sitting on a blanket. :D :p

I was conducting lighting/exposure test!! ;) :p . I also got carried away with the fact that I didn't have to wait 2 weeks to a month to post my pictures. BTW there are more than 6 pictures of my name but I thought posting that many would be tacky. :) :D

Tune it to DGDGBD and it should give harmonic indication prior to an earthquake...
