| I have just gootten a Ovation Legend 1867 but can not find any information on ths guitar being made in this coler. it is silver sprkle the neck has a inlaid strip down the back and I think somone sanded the paint off the neck there is no finish or lakker on the neck it has a tunner and amplifier bilt in and I think the fingerboard and saddle are made of ebony i have some pictures of it here at this website

Location: SoCal | The color is a special order. As to the neck, this guitar was probably built in the mid 90's, at a time when Ovation wasn't using gloss on the necks and headstocks. This is a good guitar you have. I'd be willing to bet it sounds good plugged in. |

Location: Warren,Pa. | You can periodically treat the neck with lemon oil as you would the fingerboard. Both surfaces are unfinished.
The stripes on the back of the neck are more than inlay: the neck is made of a sandwich of Mahogany/Maple/Mahogany/Maple/Mahogany. It has a large aluminum bar in it with the truss rod inside that. You can't build a more stable neck.
