I saw this, and was thinking about it. (Yes, I know that it is only a Celebrity!) It was $300 this morning, with a case no less. And a tuner, which would be helpful with a twelve string.
I just went back, and it is rising by the minute! Oh well...

I got a Balladeer 12 in really good shape for $299. Keep looking. You'll find one.

Yeah GGG. That is nice, but reserve-not-met. He want's $700 or more. I'm thinking that 1115 is gonna run away soon. On that Celebrity I showed, it was 100 bucks for days, then flew away in minutes.
I gotta take E-baaa off of my tool bar. I got three guitars in the corner of a studio apt. But I'm thinking about lending my Generic Johnson, and a bunch of books, to a friend. So he can learn Free Bird on his own.

The CC-045 sells for $499 at GC and MF, and if you haggle with GC you should be able to get another 10% off that (I got one awhile ago for $399 there). And it has a built in tuner.

I know that there is a GC somewhere in Portland (OR, not ME) I just haven't been there yet. As Wabbit pointed out, I only have about a dozen small Music stores within walking distance of my home. I may check it out.
The idea of a built in tuna sounds good to me for a 12 though. My Balladeer don't got one, but I can fake that.

I played my 1758 Elite 12 string in church yesterday after having left it unplayed for about 2 months. OH WOW - I forgot what it was like to play an orchestra! It was an incredible rush to strum that thing and hear it erupt with the most incredible rich, full, shimmery sound. I fell in love with it all over again. I assured it afterward that it wouldn't be so long until I bring her out again. What a glorious instrument!

And he deafened all the rest of us....... ;) :D
All sisterly kidding aside, she is an absolutely glorious guitar--she was a great get on Robbie's part. If I had the hand-strength to manage one, I'd be in the market, too--but I don't. :(

So, Michael, are you going to be content to identify the issue, or engage in some facilitation?
"If you ain't part of the solution, you're still part of the problem.", or something like that.
Like one of our bunch observes, "Hey, I'm helping now! Well, maybe not."

I was thinking that Samova's Preacher 12 would be right at home amongst the Ladies.

You will not find a better neck on a 12 string than what Ovation offers.

See's, you are so helpful!
