im shure one of the resident smartasses will have something to say....any how i picked my 1567 up friday night,the electronics are shot,the guy had it wired direct ot and it works fine but i want to have the control over the tone and volume...

now to the k-bar issue..how the hell do you adjust the action on these necks? its the first one ive owned. some advice would be great..thanks jason

ps..if any one has a stacked knob vol/tone preamp they wanna sell let me know..jason

Yes, and depending on the model, you either reach in the sound-hole, or in the little trap door in the back. The manual, and OFC's say, turn very, very little. Like 1/8 turns.

I beleive it's a 3/16" and you can use a standard (short) allen if you reach up in there. At least on a deep bowl.

the 1567 is a ssb, only made one year. i know how to set up a standard truss rod neck but this is the first o' ive had with a kbar neck....the action is just a bit low for my playing style(heavy right hand) as im getting a slight buzz if i hit 'em a bit too hard..jason

Ignore the fact that it's a K-Bar neck. All that means to you is they've replaced a lot of wood with aluminum. It's a standard trussrod. Just adjust like any other (1/8 turn at a time).
