OK, the 1127-4 I just got has an undersaddle piezo sensor, direct to a strap-button jack on the south end. Can't tell, but there may be some electronics inside the cylindrical case.
No signal on the regular acoustic input of my little Rogue 15-watt amp, and I have to turn the volume knob down to about "3" when plugged into the piezo input. Can't strum very firmly, or I get a crackling, sharp sound, like a momentary overload. Very clear, otherwise.
So, something wrong with the amp, or do I need some attenuation in the sensor signal?

Interesting....................Hmmmmmm
I would say you have an amp problem. You should hear somthing on the acoustic input.
If the piezo input is working ok, it should not break up.
I am not too familiar with Rogue amps. I believe they are sold through Musician's Friend in the US. I play through a Genz-Benz.
I would take the guitar into a music store that sell acoustic amps and test it there.

Great idea, Tom! I need to restock my string supplies anyway. I don't use the piezo input much, since most of my critters have preamps.
The acoustic input seems to work OK with all of them.
