Let the guys at the Mothership fix it up.

Then send it to me for a short evaluation period.

check the machines. there are a lot of things that can buzz and sound like it's coming from the strings on the fret

I agree with Jeff, especially since it is buzzing when you strum it open. Make sure the tuner hardware is all tight. Still buzzing? See if there's something loose inside the body, like the can, wires, etc. Man, I hate running down buzzes!

I is a Schaller Stick-on Piezo Transducer. The stick on is tight as well as the nut holding it. See if the wire is buzzing against the bowl.

Also, since I stuck Straplocks on, make sure the strap-washers are tight on the Strap.

damnit i just spent the past 2hrs taking the new strings off, going over the whole guitar, checked the moly-inserts on the bowl for the strap pegs, checked the machines, checked the stick-on and output jack, checked the wires, none are loose that will vibrate against the bowl. i even pulled the saddle and checked the shims.nice looking custom abalone shims..maybe im just too damn anal about my guitars...beats the hell out of me..jason

I found a split brace on my Folklore right under the saddle. The pin for the saddle fit in a hole that was drilled right through the brace. Seemed awfully strange, but I glued the brace back together and it plays great.
