Okay so who is the Optima pre-amp de-bugging king? The 1994 collector just arrived and is very, very nice. However the Optima with a fresh battery seems to have a tuner problem. When I insert the battery and push down to close the door, the battery light (red) blinks once. The sound coming out is nice and clean and undistorted. Eq In/Out works, and all four EQ sliders seems to do just what they should.

However when you press tuner, the green tuner button blinks every second or so like on my other optima's but I am getting nothing on the tuner LED display. Suggestions?

I've had a number of tuner issues with Optima. Fortunately the tuner section is seperate from the rest of the preamp and can be easily replaced. Dispite the tuner problems, Optima is still my #1 favorite Ovation preamp. Dave
