I have all the guitars I need; all the PA gear and all the signal processors. If the phone rings right now I can be out of the door in half an hour on my way to a gig. I don't need anything else.

So I have finally, FINALLY started throwing out all those musical equipment catalogs I get in the mail without even opening them.

Not even tempted.

1-A, you're not fooling anybody. You know you want an Academy. Suddenly, we all do.

"I'm only checking the 'bay to see the going rate for X guitar I'm thinking of selling".

"Hey, that's pretty, let's keep an eye on that one".

"Sorry hon, maybe the kids can eat next month...."

I never seem to make it past that first step, but I've gotten really, really good at it.
