Finally found a topic we all have an interest in. My ear hair is like the grasslands of Kentucky - swirls in the breeze.

Anybody else ever been to a barber shop where they set fire to the hair to get rid of it? Really works. But I only went the once.

I haven't seen that but I have peaked in a gas grill right before it lit and lost some eyebrow hairs (the rest turned grey).

That only happened once too.

Minor fact, line cooks have no hair on their hands or knuckles.

Barbershop? Only for the singing, feels to much like a ripoff these days. As long as they refuse to give 1/2 off, I refuse to give them half to cut.

Same here, Weas. I was trying to light my brother's gas grill once, and didn't have a handy click lighter to use, so we were dropping matches through the grates into the open jets...

Eyebrow hair grows back, fortunately, and I too will only do that once.

And apparently cheaper than a haircut, eh?

...if you don't keep your head (and other parts) in too long, yes.

Biggest problem I have is with the ear hairs. The suckers keep getting trapped inside the ear by the hearing aids and itch till I yank them out.
:p

Hey, Schroeder, this is completely OT here, but we have this new kid at 'ork who hails from somwhere like, north and maybe westerly of London. He has a thick accent, which is cool. But, I made a comment about some of the chavs around our department and he got mighty peevish.

Do you have a field guide or something for identifying Neds and chavs? Based on his reaction (and performance as of late), I'm starting to suspect we may have trapped one. Are they catch and release or what?

On topic...I have exactly one ear hair, and it's in my right ear. My wife thinks it's riotously funny to yank it out when I'm concentrating on something else and happen to be sitting next to her. It always grows back, though. :\

Cruster, maybe you need to put some fertilizer in your ears to promote hair growth. :D

Uh, that would be a big negatory. No need to go cultivating more time consuming hygiene tasks. ;)

hmmmm...speaking of waxing hair, shouldn't ear wax pull out the ear hairs?

Very nice, Lanaki. BTW, I see you're number 5051. Makes me wonder who'll be 5150.
