I think the flat profile causes me to use the muscles in my palm more. I prefer the profiles on my Adamas II, Balladeer or Viper. I think the Balladeer has the V neck. May have to trade my CL12 for an LX12 in the future.

I think they decide on a model by model basis - there doesn't seem to be a rule. My preference is for the originasl V on my Custom Legend, then the D then the C. The ute is also too fat and I don't like the satin finish on the neck. So how come it's the best of the best?

But I do have shaved 60 sheep the last few days, and that is all over the body! On the neck profile subject I guess its not the letters but the feeling of the neck that matters. I don't find my 1619-4 neck very much v-shaped, but my other guitars do have a little more rounded backs.
