Location: Simpsonville, SC | In the past month I decided to pull out my 30 year old Epiphone and try to learn to play the guitar again (after 20 years). I have always wanted an Ovation, so I went to a local shop and picked up a Used 1867 Legend. (slightly damaged top, but still sounds great). I wanted more sound acoustically and began to search the net for Ovation info. That's when I came across this this great forum. I read through all the topics and finally decided that I would purchase the 1778LX. I recieved it two weeks ago and couldn't be happier. A shim was removed for easier playability (thanks for that suggestion). I am amazed at the wealth of knowledge here and appreciative of the same. I look forward to browsing and occasionally posting.

Location: Boise, Idaho | There are a few of us that had similar layoffs. It doesn't take long to catch back up. During your layoff, they invented tabs and the internet, so you can learn more faster. |

Muz, I have Amazing Slow Downer, but I haven't used it for learning songs, only transposing backing tracks. I'll hafta play more with it. |
