Yeah, I need a life.

This should be post number 7000 for what it is worth. I'll spare you the Burt Reynolds/Cosmo photo shoot but you need not leave empty handed.

I have accumulated 168 Player's Points from the D'Addario and related string packages. Seems whenever I visit the site to redeem a prize I don't like anything they have.

So who wants them?
Tell me a good story on how you'll use them or what you'll get and I'll ship them off.

Has anyone gotten anything really swell with these?

Yeah Woody... That works out to approximately 3.4 posts per day over almost three years...
The fact that I took the time to figure that out shows that I need a life, also.

How many points for a free guitar?

I was way ahead of Jason for a while, but apparently he has less of a life than I do...

Every minute reading and posting on this sight is time not spent at some quality porn site. Shame on you Woody(?).

Okay, I will admit to clicking on Jeff's link...AFTER I checked the URL to make sure it wouldn't destroy my computer or send me straight to Hell...

Nice stuff there - looks like a drool factory for guitar junkies.

We knew what Jeff meant. I'm about half way to Woody's number and at about the same pace. Does that mean I have half a life or did I just have a life for longer than Woody did?

..re: Dream guitars..One of the nicest guitar sites I've seen..interesting articles on 'handmade vs factory' instruments, and 'tonewoods'...I'd be interested in which of the many Adamas tops would best compare with Engleman spruce for fingerpicking...

For Finger picking, I'd have to go with the UniDirectional Textured Adamas Top. One man's opinion.

DreamGuitars IS a great site. Luv the soundclips for each guitar...

Right now the dream guitar for me this Christmas looks like a new Hamer. Couldn't find any O solidbodies in my price range this year.

Is THIS all the stuff they offer? I saw that nobody had had a pitch to Woody and thought I'd be the first. Guess I thought they's have stools and cable and stuff, but i guess not.

That sounds like the original Adamas top. But I've researched all the tops and there are at least 5 different configurations.(I think..)

I know, the "player's points" stuff is crappy. they used to have stools, tools and cables, now it's t-shirts, beer mugs and luggage tags. Phooey.

Though I just might get that lanyard. The kids have this "pet" they hang off the lanyard, and they have to "feed it" and "clean it". It's some crazy japanese thing. I don't understand it.

The pick'ins are weak right now Captain.

So far Rick has the enviable first position on the second rate prize!

The rest of you a just a little distract... reminds me of the Christmas when all I got was... how many more shopping days are there until December 25th?
