Last night while watching TV there was a commercial for Petsmart and they are flashing through different people with all there dogs and they got to one guy that is sitting on the couch with his dog and next to his TV is natural colored "O" on a guitar stand! It had a different looking rosette like the '96 anniversary model or a matrix. Anyone else see this?

I've seen it. It looks like a 70s or 80s era Legend; deep bowl non-cutaway.

I saw that too. My wife and I shop at Pet Smart all the time - Now we're really going to be loyal to the place, knowing they're Ovation people!

Speaking of Ovation sightings on TV - The richest trove by far is the Time Life 'Infomercial' for Soft Rock CDs, hosted by Air Supply. It's actually a very enjoyable commercial featuring as it does archive performances by Bread, Hall & Oates, Boz Scaggs, Nicolette Larson, Elton John, Chris Cross etc. (back when people didn't necessarly have to be 18 year old porn stars in order to be famous & successful songwriters).

Anyway, if you see this thing there's a fair amount of vintage Ovations to be glimpsed. Ovations heyday: Professional singer songwriters in the mid '70s. I forget who's playing it but there's a good Adamas sighting too.
