5150 is a medical/legal term for a 72 hour psychological hold on an individual. You might want to consider if your member number has anything to do with that.....

Now you have to go on a bender, call up a journalist and swear at him, then name your kid to be your bassist.

There's no avoiding your destiny, Ed...uh, Lanaki.

Your number is 5051, not 5150. It's getting lower already. Are you sure you didn't misread the other guys' too?

Yes! I knew someone could do it!! You are the winner, Mark in Boise. I was only wondering how observant folks on this site were and whether or not their observations were trustworthy. Now I can rest assured.
Actually, my dyslexia must have set in earlier and if I swore, I would now. Shucky darn!!!

Or, even better, you could teach one of your daughters to drink and swear!

Actually, when Miles and Al set up this board, they modified it slightly so that all new members start with an ID# of 10000.

As you post, there's an algorerhythm that modifies your member ID up or down depending on several criteria (frequency of posting, quality of posts, membership in the Nor'Eastern Man Llama Mutual Respect Society, etc.). Just look at the member IDs of the people who post most frequently here and then look at what they post. Way, way lower member IDs that yours. Some of them only have two digits!

jim,
judging by your number, you must not be a lucky llama owner. are you perhaps the legal guardian of one though?

My IQ, Bowling score and Golf average are all the same number. Does that count?

Made me think back to the time I first logged in. We were anticipating what an "LX" would be like.
