How does it sound? It sounds good. Actually, really good. Every bit as good and very much like the mid-line Martins hanging in the acoustic room at Shenandoah Music.
Moving over the fretboard, however, is like being dragged bare-assed down a desert dirt road behind an irate, bastard biker.
The frets are shite and the board is rough. A refret and a good dressing, a little fretboard refurbishing and set-up and it would make a nice little player actually. Can't knock the sound at all. Scalloped X bracing. It has a 1-11/16 nut that feels even more narrow which is a bit tough for me. I've played it for about an hour and my fingers haven't been this sore since I first started playing. |

I always make her stop for a couple of minutes so I can watch him play (I think he's actually a decent player; better than I am, anyway, but that isn't hard to accomplish) and listen to the sales banter.
It's the simple things in life that amuse me. |

There's a guy at work that has an Estabann package coming so he can expand his three-chords-learned-in-the-70's vocabulary. I give him nothing but encouragement. Probably a great instrument to learn on.

I agree. I've watched him on early-AM tube.
I e-mailed some dude that was selling one of those on eBaaaa. He said he got it as a gift. (I thought it was kinda crappy that he was selling a gift, y'know?) Anyway, I wanted the DVD course. I ain't so good, y'know.
So since you got the DVD's, make me a copy. OK?
