So, here I sit at work, noon on Sunday, waiting for IBM service to show. Got a call this morning that the servers at work are down, all the stores are panicking, wah, wah, wah...

The GOOD NEWS is I also received the call I was waiting for from DesignZilla. He has successfully procured the '87 Collectors I found on the Tampa Craigslist for me!

Steve, I can't thank you enough for coming through on this for me!

My pleasure John. It was a great day to put the top down on the convertible, crank up some tunes and pick up a cool guitar!

Oh baby, she's a beaut! And she sounds and plays as good as she looks!

PM me your address so I can ship it (eventually). :D

Thanks, Brad, but it doesn't look like I'm going to make it this year.

John, I thought you were head over heels on your AII. Why more guitars?

Less, actually. My 6778LX and 1777LX are up for sale. I wanted one classic wood top to go with the 1581. As much as I like the 1537's I needed a cutaway. Never thought I'd score an 87, but the opportunity presented itself.

I feel your pain, as I currently ride herd on a bunch of pSeries, &c. Our local IBM guy likes to do things such as 'look for zinc whiskers' under the raised flooring. I did the partitioning on the last box myself because he hadn't "...gone through any of the HMC training, but I'd sure like to see how that stuff works."

I hope you got it all sorted out quickly.

Uh... Waskel is uh... moving in with me. No, really! Uh, and he's asked that I accept all of his packages. No lie! So I'll give you my address, and just send that beaut over here. ;)

That looks really nice. The '87 is on my wish list.

So what time did you get home?

And how are The Andrews Sisters supposed to cope without a lead singer?

Of course not! You surf eBay during the 26 hour shift.
