Harvey Reid is gaining a worldwide reputation as one of acoustic music's finest songwriters, instrumentalists & performers. A National Fingerpicking Guitar and International Autoharp champion, he has released 19 critically-acclaimed recordings. Acoustic Guitar Magazine chose his "Steel Drivin' Man" as one of Top 10 Folk CD's of all time
This will be Reid's first area concert in a year. Expect his usual mix of thoughtful originals, rocking & traditional songs & dazzling instrumentals on acoustic & slide guitars & autoharp. He has recently released his first book of guitar transcriptions, titled "Capo Inventions."

I met Harvey at NAMM back in January. As one of the pioneers of partial capo techiques and co-inventor of the Third Hand Capo he was naturally interested in the G-band capos. I gave him a couple of our capos and he gave me his "best of" double CD. Nice guy, great player.
